Never seen one on the roads. Very funny looking. Wish more cars were this adventurous.
The car spotting gods were watching over me. Initially this is the best pic I had.

I can’t really tell from the picture if it’s RHD or not - is it? I suppose since it shares steering column parts with some other models, there’s nothing stopping there from being an RHD Prowler, but I can’t imagine they exist without someone being very, very insane.

Sweet Kia Rondo.

I don’t think they ever exported the Prowler. There’s no listing for it in the export parts catalog anyways. And no RHD parts in the US catalog.

It’s not like a first gen Mustang, anyway - where you technically just need a pretty trivial amount of dash part editing, a Falcon RHD steering box and heater, a hydraulic clutch kit, some drilled holes and a couple of stray links and wiring things and hey presto, RHD.

Somebody in my parent’s neighborhood has had a black one since they were new... I see it every day, had no idea they were actually rare

But in Australia? In Australia they’re rare. In Australia Plymouths are rare. Exceptionally so.
Cool that they’ve had it since new :)

Yes it is. I had a look at my photos, there’s only one guy sitting in it, on the right.
Everything after a certain year has to be converted - pip bip whatever he’s called knows the year. I think this is after that year.
Edit:
All imported light vehicles less than 30 years old and all imported heavy vehicles must be in right hand drive configuration before they can be registered.

Sweet! I actually quite like those, and surprisingly reasonably priced right now. Also, you might like this http://www.allpar.com/fix/engines/SR…

I don’t like that they were all V6, all auto. I feel like it’s a missed opportunity, and a typical example of American car makers taking a good idea and executing it poorly.
That V8 one pleases me much :P

Pleases me also! Definitely in the true spirit of the car design

Can you imagine that car with a hellcat swap......
